Abstract
This study analyzed the affective experiences of visitors to Korea's five major palaces (Gyeongbokgung, Changdeokgung, Changgyeonggung, Deoksugung, Gyeonghuigung) and visualized them through a two-dimensional affective model. From 425 collected affective words, 22 representative words were selected and mapped using Multidimensional Scaling (MDS) and Principal Component Analysis (PCA). The results identified two key dimensions: 'Introverted Extroverted Affect' and 'Stable-Unstable Affect’, effectively capturing visitor’s diverse emotional responses. Despite the sample's limitations, this model offers a foundation for analyzing the affective value of cultural heritage, guiding future research and affect based content development.
